La fotograma pertenece a la película Mujeres Espíritu (2019), a cuyo director, Francisco Huichaqueo, dedicamos una entrevista en esta edición. Mujeres Espíritu “aborda a cinco mujeres unidas por la espiritualidad y la poesía. Ellas no se conocen pero la fuerza declamatoria las une. Las lenguas stotsil, mapuzungun, kechua y español dan forma al campo de la semántica que, más allá de la palabra, enriquecen la sonoridad de la lengua materna, invitando al espacio espiritual propio de cada mujer y su territorio,” escribe Luis Gallardo, representante de la Coordinadora Latinoamericana del Cine y Comunicación de los Pueblos Indígenas (CLACPI).

Roxana Miranda Rupailaf (1982, Osorno, Chile) es poeta, Magíster en literatura hispanoamericana contemporánea por la Universidad Austral y profesora de lengua castellana y comunicación por la Universidad de Los Lagos. Ha publicado varios libros de poesía, incluyendo Seducción de los venenos (2008), Shumpall (2011), Trewa Ko (2018) y Zewpe Mapu (2021) y Kewakafe (2022). Sus obras exploran temas relacionados a lo femenino, la oralidad, y la cultura mapuche. En septiembre (2023) Roxana recibió el Premio Regional de Arte y Cultura Víctor Jara otorgado por la Universidad de Los Lagos y la Fundación Víctor Jara para reconocer y celebrar los artistas y cultores de la Región de Los Lagos y preservar el nombre de Víctor Jara en la memoria de antiguas y nuevas generaciones.
